In our definition, strategy games are games which have an element of forward planning and thinking that goes beyond simple chance or reliance on actions by other players. This includes games that are considered fantasy, science fiction, historical, sandbox, economic, as well as other categories. In a sense, it is any game we enjoy playing that have an element that tend to be on the complex side of the gaming industry.

Yes! We consider card games in the same category as tabletop games. However, most of us prefer games that are more complex and have elements that are outside just a simple a deck of cards. We know games like poker and bridge are strategy games in their won right, we just don’t usually focus on it as their are better resources out there for players to follow.

Any game you can play on a table at your own home or in a tournament setting. These include board games, card games, building games, and even dice games.

Yes! Many of us have other hobbies and interests that we plan to include on this as well. Examples such as how to paint miniatures for your games to technical discussions about technology trends are things on our to-do list.

While we focus on strategy games in general, meaning we don’t differentiate, we typically gravitate towards science fiction, fantasy, historical, and economic games. Some of us have expertise, and actively participate as experts in these fields, and like to contribute their knowledge in these areas as well.
